Course Overview

BSB42015-Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (Current)

Duration: 34 Weeks [3 terms] including term breaks
The Certificate IV in Leadership and Management provides students with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge to enable them to take on frontline management responsibilities; to provide leadership and support to teams, and to customer services management priorities across a range of business contexts.

BSB51915-Diploma of Leadership and Management (Current)

Duration: 50 Weeks [4 terms] including term breaks
The Diploma of Leadership and Management focuses on building communication, leadership and planning skills, which are fundamental in all managerial positions. Trainees will develop a broad range of skills such as managing set tasks, people, budgets and financial plans.

BSB61015-Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (Current)

Duration: 52 Weeks [4 terms] including term breaks
The Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management provide individuals with knowledge to plan and implement a various array of leadership and management functions. Students at this level will gain the initiative, judgement and accountability to lead and manage employees and a business from a range of enterprise’s and industries. Students will develop integral analytical skills for the synthesis of information that is expressed to respond to complex situations.

Full-time study

Delivery of the course consists of 20 hours per week of scheduled classes on campus.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Students may be able to gain credits in their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF Qualifications or Accredited Courses and Statements of Attainment issued by other registered education providers are recognised by Cambridge International College. Application for RPL must be submitted prior to the commencement of classes.

Assessment

Students are advised of the assessment requirements at the beginning of each unit. The assessment process will include a variety of tasks to demonstrate competence in the required skills and knowledge. Assessment continues throughout the program until the student either achieves competency in the assessment tasks or further training needs are identified and addressed.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management will obtain frontline management skills and knowledge which can lead to team leader, supervisor or coordinator job roles across a wide range of industries.

Graduates of the BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management will obtain the skills and knowledge required to manage strategic and operational areas of any given organisation.

Graduates of the BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management will have the opportunity to seek employment in management roles across a broad range of industries.

Opportunities for further studies

Students who complete the BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management may choose to undertake a range of Diploma level qualifications within the Business Services Training Package including the BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management.

Students who complete the BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management may choose to undertake a range of Advanced Diploma level qualifications within the Business Services Training Package including the BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management.

Students who complete the BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management will be well prepared to undertake a Bachelor of Business Management or related degree qualification.
